About the initiative
On a mission to support
Convictions about the initiative increased and the parties wishing to join it increased, until it reached thirteen institutions, organizations and unions known for working on humanitarian issues and helping those affected by disasters and crises. Everyone participated in multiple meetings with all the enthusiasm and emotion required by this crisis to search and think about the quickest ways that would provide urgent humanitarian aid to the Sudanese who were affected by this war, which led to the migration and displacement of large numbers of them inside Sudan or to the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the bonds of history, geography and ties The Holy Nile to generate the “Initiative to Support Sudanese Affected by War.”

- Providing psychological and social support to those affected by the war.
- Helping provide food to those in need.
- Working to solve the shelter and housing problems of the distressed.
- Seeking to mobilize support and resources from the Egyptian and Sudanese private sectors.
- Working with the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development initiative to save the agricultural season in Sudan and provide food security.
- Seeking to mobilize international support and resources to save museums, libraries and the National Archives.
